What you pay
Non BIAC ( Bowen Island Arts Council ) members pay $166.88. This
includes 12% GST/HST tax.
BIAC ( Bowen Island Arts Council ) members receive a 10% discount and pay only $150.19. This includes 12% GST/HST tax.

Payment must be received before your seat in the workshop/s is confirmed.
Refunds for cancellations, will not be made after the final refund date of your workshop, ( Monday, January 30 ).
Minimum age for all workshops, unless otherwise stated, is 15. Exceptions are sometimes made, depending on the extend of the child's experience and level of maturity.
We reserve the right not to admit who ever we choose to any workshop or class.
A participant may cancel their seat in a workshop for any reason and receive a full refund minus a $25. admin fee, up to the final cancellation date, ( Monday, January 30 ). After that date, no refund will be made.

DO I PAY HST?
All coaches must charge HST, unless they have been given special exception status by Canada Revenue, Ottawa GST/HST Rulings.
To qualify, an instructor must; issue a certification of graduation at the end of each workshop or course, all students are to go through a formal adjudication process and receive a specific grade in writing, and each student must be evaluated on a
pass or fail bases.o
However...
Any artist may claim HST exemption status and not pay HST, if they have been awarded an HST exception number by Revenue Canada.
If you have a HST exception number, please give it to us and we will be happy to charge you for just the cost of the workshop.
