MARSHA CHESLEY - Casting Director
THE WORKSHOP
Back by popular demand! In this intensive and challenging two-day workshop, you'll have the opportunity to work (two) audition scenes of your choosing, on camera. However, if choosing your own sides seems a little daunting, don't worry, we also have a whole selection of sides for you to choose from.
On the first part of each day, you'll work out with well known Canadian acting coach Marc Baur. On each day, you'll have multiple opportunities to work one of your two audition sides on camera. After dinner, on each day, you'll come back and perform one of your audition sides on camera before one of two casting director panels. Each with two prominent Toronto based Casting Directors - Marsha Chesley, Lisa Parasyn, Karen Williams and introducing Jon Comerford. If time allows, both panels will do a question and answer session at the close of each day.
This workshop is very intensive. Each day gives you almost ten hours of instruction, which is actually like giving you the equivalent of a three or four day workshop.
Your work will be recorded on camera and you will get a DVD of all your work done with each casting director panel.
Who Should Attend?
This class is designed for the working actor, or at least those
who are serious about honing their audition skills and enlarging their presence in the Canadian film industry.
