Mixed Media Art
Mixed Media Gallery: Where Color Plays and Imagination Roams
Mixed media art is my playground—the place I let creativity off the leash. While ceramics keeps my techniques sharp and my hands in the clay, mixed media is where I get to experiment fearlessly with color, texture, and a delightful mishmash of materials. Whether it’s paper, fabric, found objects, or wire, if it catches my eye, it finds a home in my work.
My subjects wander wherever curiosity takes them: whimsical creatures with attitude, dramatic city silhouettes, birds full of opinions, and architectural forms inspired by a love for old houses and bottles. Some pieces are upbeat and bright, others lean toward the moody or mysterious. The only thing they share in common is a refusal to stay ordinary—or predictable.
I started down this path around the same time as my deep-dive into ceramics, craving a sense of freedom to balance the discipline of pottery school. Each piece you see here is a testament to the joy of staying playful and open as an artist.
Alongside the original works—both current and archived—I happily offer commissions! If you have a vision, a quirky request, or simply want something that’s more “you,” let’s collaborate and bring it to life. And if you’re looking for art that’s easy to gift or display, many of my pieces are available as archival-quality prints, ready to brighten up any wall (and ship with ease).
If something here sparks your imagination or you just want to chat possibilities, I’m all ears. Dive into the gallery—and discover just how playful art can be!
